Cash App Founder Fatally Stabbed Weeks After Hindenburg Short Report Released

Cash App Founder

Bob Lee, the founder of Cash App and former Chief Technology officer of Square, was reportedly stabbed early Tuesday Morning close to downtown San Francisco.

This news comes two weeks after Hindenburg Research, the infamous short seller, released a scathing report on Cash App and Square (now block). The report alleges that Block, formerly known as Square, inflated user metrics and that the company’s app, Cash App, was widely used for fraud and illegal activities.

The investigation by Hindenburg Research allegedly took 2 years and found countless instances where Cash App was used to facilitate illegal activities including drug and sex trafficking.

In conspicuous timing, at around 2:35 AM Tuesday morning, a man now revealed to be the founder of Cash App was stabbed to death at age 43.
